Investing in education and training for the development of 21st century skills is key to boosting growth and competitiveness: skills drive Europe's ability to increase productivity. In the long run, skills can stimulate innovation and growth, add value to production in the value chain, stimulate the concentration of higher-level skills and polish the future labor market.
