Abstract:
The economic crisis has shown how important it is for companies to not only reduce costs, but also to find new innovative solutions to maintain the efficiency of supply chain management (SCM) in a difficult and poorly predictable macroeconomic environment. Those companies that managed to correctly assess the situation and reorganize over time for new lines of integration and coordination of both internal business processes and relations with supply chain agencies, were able not only to maintain their positions, but also achieve significant results in increasing competitiveness and strengthening market positions. And in this context, an important role belongs to the specific strategies of supply chain management. JEL: M 11, C 44.
