Abstract:
Accreditation of adult vocational training programs is an essential process for ensuring the quality of continuing education and skills acquired by participants. These programs are designed to meet the needs of the labor market, giving adults the opportunity to develop or update the skills needed to cope with economic and technological change. Accreditation guarantees that programs meet specific educational standards, thus ensuring their relevance and effectiveness.
The accreditation process involves evaluating teaching methods, educational materials, trainer competence and institutional resources to ensure that the program provides quality learning. It also includes checking that learning outcomes are clear, measurable and linked to labor market requirements. In addition, accreditation contributes to the formal recognition of obtained certificates, which facilitates the professional integration of adults.
Another important aspect is that accreditation fosters transparency and trust in vocational training programs for both employers and participants. This process is essential to ensure quality, relevant and accessible education adapted to market and participant needs. JEL: I20, I23; CZU: 378.014.61(478); DOI: https://doi.org/10.53486/isc2024.16
