Exploring the Diversity and Authenticity of Moldovan Sweets in Local Restaurants

Abstract

This study explores the diversity and authenticity of traditional Moldovan sweets in the context of local restaurants. Through qualitative and quantitative research, the main characteristics of Moldovan desserts were examined, as well as their prevalence and acceptability in restaurants in the city of Chisinau. Detailed analysis of the preparation methods, ingredients used and cultural influence on local gastronomic preferences revealed significant aspects related to the preservation of culinary traditions and their adaptation to contemporary requirements. The results indicate a rich diversity of Moldovan sweets and an increased tendency towards preserving their authenticity in the context of the modern food industry. The conclusions obtained can serve as a basis for promoting and enhancing the local gastronomic heritage, as well as encouraging the consumption and appreciation of these traditional culinary delights.
