Abstract:
The work researches the issues of using the universal open source cross-platform editor Visual Studio code.
The subject of the research is defined - design and development of on-line information platforms. The main areas of VS Code user interface are concretized. The top-5 popular and required plug-ins are systematized and characterized. A fragmentary SWOT analysis of the code editor is carried out. Conclusions are formulated.
