Abstract:
Education and employment are key to the development of a society, having a direct impact on economic growth. The aim of the research is to examine the relationship between the educational attainment of the population and access to employment opportunities, emphasising the role of education in preparing and adapting the workforce to the needs of the modern economy. The analysis reveals a complex interaction between the educational system and the labour market in the Republic of Moldova, Educational policies and employment support measures are crucial to maximise the benefits of education in this field. The implementation of the "Education 2030" strategy is essential for developing the relationship between educational institutions and the needs of the labour market, thus strengthening the skills and competences of the Moldovan workforce.
