| dc.description.abstract | Importance and relevance of the topic. Tax revenues play an important role for the state budget, as they are the main sources of income. They provide funding for state programs, economic stability, social equality, state security and infrastructure development. Due to their high importance for the state budget, it is necessary to carefully monitor the completeness and timeliness of tax revenues. At the same time, for taxpayers, the amounts of taxes may seem quite large, which is why a pressing problem for the entire state arises - tax evasion. The purpose of this work is to identify the importance of VAT for the budget of the Republic of Moldova, the problems of its management and to propose ways to eliminate the identified problems.
