In the context of multiculturalism, the relevant economic models play a key role in modern societies, with Sweden and China serving as prominent examples. The impact of internationalization on these two countries is reflected in their level of development, highlighting distinct intercultural dimensions. While Sweden tends to focus on individualism, egalitarianism and a high level of social trust, China puts more emphasis on collectivism, hierarchy and respect for authority. These differences, shaped by historical, social and political factors, reflect the unique cultural identities of each country. By using Hofstede's model of analysis, we can better understand the cross-cultural dimensions of Sweden and China, illustrating how global influences shape cultural dynamics while keeping their distinct characteristics.
